Guest Lecture at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen

This month, I had the opportunity to teach at the venerable Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, one of Germany’s most respected institutions.

We worked on a case study exploring personal finance, financial planning, and decision-making in the transition from university to professional life. The focus was on structured thinking rather than products. Students considered budgeting, prioritization, risk management, and long-term planning. The goal was to understand how early decisions shape stability options and future opportunities.

The session highlighted how much potential there is when financial literacy is approached as a framework for decisions rather than a checklist. This perspective is central to my work. Real impact comes from teaching people to think strategically about their finances and make confident choices in complex situations.

Bringing together academic concepts and real-world applications is at the heart of what I do. For me, it is important that theory does not remain abstract but informs practical decision-making. Helping people translate knowledge into action and long-term strategy is what makes financial planning meaningful.
